Anti-Tetanus Toxoid (ATT) vaccination is required not only for the access to LARU but also as animal workers at CityU as well. ATT vaccination is Mandatory as advised by the University’s “Policy on Immunization for Animal Users” (See below). Normally, a completed course of ATT vaccination requires up to 3 doses spread over a 1 -year time course. Please see attachment as an example for a complete course of ATT injection.

***Starting on the 1^st August, users’ access to LARU without a valid ATT injection record from CityU clinic will be suspended. You should see Clinic Doctor to decide if ATT booster is required for you to complete the ATT vaccination***.

Normally, after completion of your first ATT injection, you should receive the second ATT injection in 4-8 weeks, and your third ATT injection in 6-12 months. Your time period for LARU access will be based on your ATT vaccination status. You must compete all 3 injections in order to have 10 years of immunity.
